iPads and iPads and iPads Oh My!
Last week, we finished our classroom writing piece on Persuasive Essays. This week, it will be your turn to join a group to create your own Persuasive Writing. Have you ever thought how cool it would be to have your own iPad at school to use? Why not get rid of those old, boring computers, and get a BRAND NEW iPAD!?!
Although we all want an iPad, it's not that simple. We have a little problem, our school principal does not believe that iPads are necessary. Your job is to create a wiki as a group and explain to him why iPads are beneficial for school purposes. Click the How To page on the right to get started!
Our School's Curriculum Standards/Objectives:
EQ1/2/4. Good writers use standard grammar and conventions when speaking and writing.
EQ3. Good writers write to persuade, including a title, topic, and reasons to support facts/opinions.
EQ4. Good writers revise with support.
EQ4. Good writers participate in shared research and writing projects.
EQ4. Good writers gather information, with support, to answer questions.
